Political progressivism is caused by mental regressivism

More and more case studies are verifying what the alternative media has long reported: People who embrace liberal policies like mass vaccination, water fluoridation and pesticide use tend to have lower IQs.

The revelation should come as no surprise in an age where college universities indoctrinate the youth into believing liberalism, and the social policies attached to liberalism, fall within a class of truisms. In reality, the history of socialism is littered with failures that multiple psychological and social experiments are now backing up.

Which came first — the liberal or the stupid?

For instance, one of the great social experiments heralded by liberals is fluoridated water. Libertarians were quick to note that it was never the government’s business to feed the masses a cocktail of drugs and a “one size fits all” approach does not work with respect to public health.

Despite these concerns, liberals insisted that the benefits of fluoridated water far outweighed the risks. One risk attached to fluoridated water is lower IQ. Apparently, liberals didn’t get that memo — or worse, they were too stupid to read the memo in the first place.

It may sound like political rhetoric, but it really is true. A 2015 meta-analysis, which reviewed 56 studies that examined the relationship between fluoride and human intelligence, found children with moderate or severe dental fluorosis scored significantly lower in span tests than children with little or questionable fluorosis.(1)

In other words, if you want to set your children up for failure, raise them in a fluoridated community. Just don’t be surprised if that fluoridated community has an invariable tendency to be socially liberal.

Unfortunately, the study does not resolve a catch-22: Are liberals stupid because they drink fluoridated water or are they stupid because they put fluoride in the drinking water?

Are you smarter than an atheist?

There were other studies in 2015 that proved liberal progressivism is caused by mental regressivism. According to a study published in the journal Social Cognitive and Affective Neuroscience, patients who underwent a procedure that temporarily encumbered their frontal lobes, the source of critical thinking skills, started to disbelieve in God and embrace liberal polices on immigration.

Approximately 38 participants were involved in the study, all of whom claimed to be significantly religious and identified as a moderate to an extreme conservative before the study. Half of the participants received a low-level intervention that did not deactivate their posterior medial frontal cortex, whereas the other half received a higher-level magnetic stimulation that decreased activity in their posterior medial frontal cortex.(2)

Following the experiment, the participants were subjected to a series of questions about their religious beliefs and views on immigration.

“Belief in God was reduced almost by a third, while participants became 28.5 per cent less bothered by immigration numbers,” says the UK Daily Express. “The scientists targeted the posterior medial frontal cortex, a brain region a few inches up from the forehead that is associated with detecting and responding to problems.”(2)

In other words, the experiment showed you only need half a brain to be a bleeding-heart, godless atheist. When regions of the brain responsible for higher learning and intelligence were compensated, participants became more open to liberal immigration policies.

Non-belief no longer occupies intellectual high ground

The research also revealed that atheism, the disbelief in God, is a cognitive defect rather than an intellectually superior position to theism. Anyone with half a brain can disbelieve in God, but it requires higher brain functioning to try to understand a cosmic intelligence that underpins the universe.

In most cases, atheism is an intellectually premature position, which is not reached by a careful examination of arguments and evidence.

What can be learned from these studies? You don’t need to be a genius to recognize the faults that underpin liberal policies, but apparently, you do need more than half a brain.
