The Mercer Island School District has decided to rescind their ridiculous ban on the playground game “tag” after receiving ferocious negative feedback from parents and the public. The school district originally decided to ban the game of tag over the physical and emotional safety of students.
Essentially what they were saying was that they believed it was within their purview to attempt to manipulate and nudge the social behavior of the students by banning a game known to be an avenue where kids are allowing to be physical with each other, and potentially utilize their god-given strategic mind to discern targets and be competitive. You know who else believes in social nudging through state control? The Marxist communists.
