Following the recent news of the diesel car giant Volkswagen lied to the EPA about the actual emissions of their cars, a concerned citizen in Portland, Oregon have hit the streets around town placing these interesting fliers on the hoods of Volkswagen vehicles.
The flyers aren’t completely wrong in their claim that the company was founded by Nazis, as the company was formed during the height of the Nazi rule in Germany. In fact, many other companies that are common household names in the United States were also founded by Nazis. For example, IG Farben, maker of Bayer aspirin, was founded in 1925 and eventually became a mainstay supplier for the Nazi regime.
