One of the top stories of 2015 certainly had to be the harrowing tale of Ahmed Mohammed, a 14-year-old high school student who brought what appeared to be a bomb to school. Frightened teachers immediately called the police who took Ahmed into custody. It was later revealed that the “bomb” in question was really a digital clock that he had fashioned inside of a pencil box. Despite the fact that the clock eerily resembled a bomb, the fact that it was just a clock led to many people in the mainstream media to declare that the school committed an act of Islamaphobia for questioning Ahmed’s intentions.

Because of course they did…

In the months following, Ahmed — now known across the world as “Clock Boy” — and his family sucked every dollar imaginable out of the controversy. They demanded $15 million in financial compensation for the event having taken place. $15 million! Even President Obama succumbed to the family’s scam, inviting Ahmed to the White House to show off the clock.

Recently, Ahmed and his family were seeking $100,000 in damages from none other than Glenn Beck of The Blaze for criticizing Clock Boy. Despite the fact that this was a blatant assault on free speech in the name of political correctness, there were certainly doubts that justice would prevail. In this era, when we are all expected to cower under Islam, it wouldn’t be all that shocking if the Mohameds were victorious.

Thankfully, they were not. The judge dismissed the case, much to the chagrin of the Regressive Left.

The American Freedom Law Center reports, “During the lengthy hearing, Judge [Maricela] Moore pressed Mohamed’s lawyer, Fort Worth attorney Susan Hutchison, to provide any facts that would suggest that Hanson and the other defendants had said anything false or defamatory about Mohamed or his son during the television broadcasts. After spending a painfully embarrassing 15 minutes flipping through reams of paper, Mohamed’s lawyer was unable to provide any such evidence.”

Good riddance, Clock Boy! You just learned the valuable lesson that in America, you have to work for your achievements. You aren’t simply handed them just because you cried and because you are of a particular religion. That may have worked while the liberals were still running the show, but the tides are turning here in the United States and things are about to get a lot tougher for those that are looking for a free ride.
