Catholic bishop says Reiki energy healing opens gateways for demonic possession (but molesting choir boys doesn’t?)

Editor’s note: The following true story sounds bizarre, but it’s genuinely what this Catholic Bishop is saying. We don’t agree with this, and we wonder whether this particular bishop has ever noticed the satanic demons inhabiting the body of Pope Francis. Nevertheless, we present this outlandish true account for your consideration.

As Pope Francis and the rest of the Roman Catholic Empire continues to ignore rampant child abuse and pedophilia within its ranks, an Irish bishop has pronounced to the world that an energy healing protocol known as Reiki is satanic, and that it opens up the doors to demonic possession.

Bishop Alphonsus Cullinan, during a recent interview with Independent Ireland, declared that his life’s mission is to cleanse the devil from the face of the earth. And his biggest priority is taking on new-age healing methods like reiki that he says are allowing Satan and his demons to enter into people’s bodies.”

“You’re channeling energies, in inverted commas, you could well be opening yourself up to letting a spirit in which is not good and is dangerous stuff, actually,” Bishop Cullinan is quoted as saying to the U.K. paper.

“This is something that has to be done in secret because you don’t let these people’s names out, and they are going to houses where people maybe have been involved in some kind of new-age thing or some kind of séance or that kind of thing, and unfortunately, they’ve opened up a door to an evil force, Satan.”

Catholicism: Yoga and reiki are evil, but GMOs and child rape are all a-okay

If Roman Catholicism was at least consistent in its proclamations of what’s evil and what isn’t, one could argue that these statements by Bishop Cullinan are valid in terms of the Catholic religion’s dogmas and doctrines. But there’s a glaring hypocrisy between how the Catholic religion treats matters of variant spiritual practice versus many other verifiable evils such as biotechnology, vaccines, and child rape.

Back in 2011, we reported on how leaked documents showed that the Vatican was fully supportive of “Frankenfoods” that are known to damage human health.

And when it comes to child rape, the Catholic religion is similarly indifferent. Pope Francis has repeatedly stated that pedophilia isn’t a sin caused by those who engage in it, including Catholic priests, but is rather the fault of the devil who somehow commits these vile acts through human bodies.

It’s a ridiculous double standard that would seem to preclude any outside judgment of things like reiki and yoga, both of which the Catholic religion condemns as “evil,” all the while approving much worse evils in an attempt to protect Catholic clergy from any and all scrutiny for committing evil acts – and against innocent children, no less.

In the information age, it’s hardly difficult to investigate these matters for oneself to determine that the Catholic religion has created a set of rules and morals that perpetuate its own existence, rather than serve God. It’s clearly an outdated system of religious influence and control that even more clearly harbors all kinds of evil within its ranks while condemning everyone else on the outside for their much lesser moral crimes.

“The Catholic church has long been at odds with any mystery that it does not directly control, and their propaganda line is always the same: If we don’t like it, it’s Satan,” writes Vic Bishop for Waking Times.

“Here’s a thought for the Catholic church: Pedophilia is literally the most Satanic thing on the planet. So, until the church is able to exorcise the evil from within, I think I’ll keep practicing yoga and healing myself with Reiki, while keeping my children miles and miles away from the Catholic church and all of the creepy pedophile sexual predators it employs and protects.”
