James O’Keefe and his undercover media operation don’t get nearly enough coverage in the so-called “mainstream media” because they continue to out-scoop one outlet after another with legitimate bombshells.
Then again, Project Veritas focuses almost exclusively on exposing Left-wing Democrats, the political and ideological soulmates of many in the mainstream media, so that explains why O’Keefe’s exposes are generally only reported by the independent media.
That said, while PV recently released footage of an unhinged staffer for Sen. Bernie Sanders’ campaign, the organization on Monday published new footage of a staffer working for the campaign of Sen. Elizabeth Warren, another leading 2020 Democratic contender.
In particular, the staffer — a man identified as Iowa field organizer Angel Alicea — was angry about Warren’s pandering to transgendered individuals as part of her focus, generally, on “identity politics” which he quite clearly thinks are political losers.
“It’s just identity politics, and again I get called on it for calling it that, but it’s like, I’m a f–ing brown man,” says Alicea in the video. “I had to do diversity and inclusion training, and I’m like, what are you going to tell me, you white liberals, that I don’t already know?”
The video is the fifth in the organization’s #Expose2020 series, the first to feature footage gathered by an undercover PV journalist embedded in Warren’s campaign.
Continuing, Alicea laments the direction of the Democratic Party in general.
“At the end of the day, we’ve become a party that has prioritized [gender pronouns] rather than putting food on the table for working families, and it’s like, that’s why we lose,” he said.
“I got called out for not having those (pronouns) in my Twitter bio…so I threw them in there just to satisfy the folks,” he said. “It’s identity politics, and again, I get called on it for calling it that.”
He said another Warren campaign staffer he identified as Paige told him once he was “the only straight person” working in the group.
“I’m like, who f—ing cares? I’m not saying you’re the only f—ing trans here or something,” Alicea noted further.
“This is what the f—ing Trump people use against us because you (Paige) say dumb s—t like that. Because I like women, you’re going to ostracize me?”
Previous videos have shown radical left-wing staff working for Vermont Sen. Bernard Sanders’ campaign in Iowa and South Carolina. The Sanders camp has not commented on the sting, but did call police on Project Veritas’ team seeking comment outside the campaign office in North Charleston.
The paper added that Alicea is described by PV as a paid staffer.
In the video, he continued to complain about the focus on gender pronouns.
“If we’re going to prioritize pronouns over making sure people have a decent standard of living, that’s wrong,” he said, adding, “When you come from where I come from, no one gives a f– about a g-d d—n pronoun. We want to know how you get a job.”
“I feel like I shouldn’t have to say he/him/his. Like, shouldn’t it just be implied?” he asked. “I’ve been called out for saying something like that, but this is why we lose elections, because we’re zeroing in on s—t like that.”
At one point, Alicea warns the undercover journalist not to use the wrong pronoun with a transgender staff member because “she’ll be very upset.”
“We’re zeroing in on something. And I’m not saying it doesn’t matter. We should make people feel comfortable and accepted. But when you put that over making sure people have decent jobs and health care, like, it’s a f–ing no-brainer why we’re going to g-d d—n lose an election,” he said.
